David joined the Centre for Customised Executive Development in November 2014 and is responsible for the design and delivery of customised executive development interventions delivered both in the UK and internationally. David has over 22 years’ international experience in talent, learning and development across a range of industry sectors and up to Board level. Prior to joining Cranfield he worked as a global leadership development consultant with Oliver Wyman and Mercer. Before that he worked on a range of region-wide educational strategies for the Learning & Skills Councils in the North-West of the UK.
He has worked with blue-chip clients such as AstraZeneca, Awardbrand Libya, Barclays, The Co-operative Group, Exxon, First Group, Marks & Spencer, Orange, Royal Bank of Scotland Group, Union Bank of Nigeria.
He has supported Board members and senior directors in strategic reviews and executive team-building to bring issues to the surface and develop long-term collaborative solutions. He has a keen eye for objective, strategic thinking coupled with the ability to engage and excite others. He quickly gets to the heart of what is required.
He is experienced in the use of a range of personal assessment tools including Myers-Briggs, Hogan Suite, to provide a platform for challenging developmental one-to-one executive coaching. As a challenging yet supportive executive coach, he enables people to reach insightful conclusions and shape new directions.
