Background

Daniel Stanton, PMP, CSCP, SCPro, CSSBB, is an award-winning business educator, executive, and entrepreneur.

Known as "Mr. Supply Chain," Daniel served five years in the military before getting a masters in logistics engineering from MIT and working as a supply chain project manager for a global manufacturing company. His best-selling book, Supply Chain Management For Dummies, has been translated into several languages. He has also cofounded tech startups and been an advisor and senior executive for nonprofit education associations. His courses on LinkedIn Learning have been viewed over 1 million times. Current activities

Current research focused on how illicit counterfeit products enter the supply chain, and how licit supply chain participants can mitigate this threat. It draws from existing research into supply chain strategy, sources of counterfeit products, and anti-counterfeiting technologies. Exploring the issue of counterfeit products is also exposing links to supply chain risk management, supply chain visibility, supply chain security, and supply chain collaboration.
