Current research focused on how illicit counterfeit products enter the supply chain, and how licit supply chain participants can mitigate this threat. It draws from existing research into supply chain strategy, sources of counterfeit products, and anti-counterfeiting technologies. Exploring the issue of counterfeit products is also exposing links to supply chain risk management, supply chain visibility, supply chain security, and supply chain collaboration.
