Christine is a full time PhD student in Leadership and Management at Cranfield University.
Until recently she chaired Board Services, Executive Search, for Harvey Nash plc. The Board Services team works with leading organisations to assess and appoint leadership and board teams and conduct board evaluations to help boards create the most effective dynamics. She also set up and led the Harvey Nash Annual International Board Research, in partnership with London Business School’s Leadership Institute and the Annual Change Leadership Research, to understand how leadership and change is changing.
Christine started her career at John Lewis Partnership, and subsequently held roles as Director for Operations and Buying for a number of leading retail organisations including divisions of Kingfisher, Sears and Arcadia (the Burton Group) and then Managing Director for a leading Italian fashion retailer. She subsequently joined PA Consulting, moving to Harvey Nash in 2000.
She is a psychology graduate, Member of the British Psychological Society and qualified Executive Coach (Academy of Executive Coaching). Using the evidence-based approach, of the positive interaction of cognitive and behavioural interventions (CBT Master Practitioner, British Psychological Society, RE-CBT Integrative Distinction), she helps executives bring balance to their work and home life, to optimise their performance and well-being.
Christine's research is focused on capturing an understanding of how inclusive organisations are fostered, and uncovering how individuals experience inclusion.
