Background
Prior to starting his PhD journey, Chengzhen obtained his Bachelor of Arts in International Business with Spanish at University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China. He then obtained his Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management with Distinction at Cranfield University.
Current activities
Chengzhen is currently focusing on the social sustainability of deploying autonomous vehicles in the supply chain. The emerging technologies from the Fourth Industrial Revolution have attracted interests from both industry and academia. The advantages in environmental and economic dimensions of performance are proved, however, the social sustainability has received limited attention. This research is to explore the social dimension of sustainability of adoption advanced autonomous vehicles in the supply chain.
