Background
Prior to joining Cranfield, Ahmed worked in Advisory. He started his career in the Arabian Gulf region before moving to Paris. He has been in contact and delivered his services to a wide array of top firms in various industries. He has also served Public entities and Government.
Ahmed has a Bachelor's degree from the American University of Beirut, and a Master's degree from Cranfield University. He speaks five languages and has a wide array of international professional and educational experience.
Current activities
Ahmed is a Doctoral candidate in Economics, supervised by Prof. Alexiou and Prof. Belghitar. His research revolves around imperfect competition in labor markets and heterodox perspectives on income distribution.
He currently holds a Teaching Assistant position in the department of Economics at UCL (University College London). Ahmed is also a frequent contributor of op-ed pieces to top newspapers and online journals.
