Pitch your business idea to a panel of esteemed judges
Sponsored by Santander Universities, the Elevator Pitch Competition gives budding entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their business idea to a panel of esteemed judges for the chance to win a cash prize.
Participants will need to adhere to a strict three-minute pitch format, with additional time for questions from the judging panel.
There is a cash prize pool of £5,000 available, courtesy of our generous sponsors Santander Universities and contestants will be competing for the most memorable pitch of the day as well as runner-up and overall winner.
The Elevator Pitch Competition is part of the Venture Programme , an extracurricular programme designed to unlock the entrepreneurial spirit of every Cranfield student, hosted by the university’s entrepreneurial hub, the Bettany Centre.
Pitch training
In order to be eligible to take part in the Elevator Pitch Competition, participants must partake in a Pitch training session.
In previous years, the training sessions have been held both online and face-to-face.
Dates for the training sessions will be released closer to the competition.
Who should attend?
Any entrepreneur, who is or has undertaken a course at Cranfield University who is looking for feedback on their business idea and wishes to hone their pitching skills at this highly competitive event.
Please note that entrepreneurs who do not attend a training session will not be selected to present on the day and a maximum of 12 ideas will be selected to present to our judges.
