Developments in technology, changing demographics, increasing workforce diversity, greater global integration and increased competitive pressures for organizations are changing the nature of work, the workforce and work relations. These changes present new challenges in developing a suitable people strategy, as HR practitioners strive to maintain successful recruitment, high levels of employee engagement and retention of talent, in order to facilitate organisational performance , against the backdrop of changing customer requirements and expectations.
This interactive event is designed to help HR, L&D and Talent Professionals to understand and consider the challenges arising from the changing nature of work and working relationships and to explore ways in which these can be addressed. The event will draw on recent research examining the evidence for the changing nature of work and its impact on people management, as well as specific expertise and experience of faculty from the Changing World of Work group at Cranfield School of Management.
