Preparing for student engagement in Term 1 – Week commencing 28 September to 11 December 2020

Cranfield University and the School of Management Executive are delighted to confirm that student numbers are healthy for the forthcoming academic year, and we expect most students to live and study on site in Covid-adapted surroundings. Approximately 70% of the teaching will be face to face and 30% will be online, but the University Executive have made the decision to not deliver our courses entirely remotely.

Throughout lockdown, our team have been supporting students and employers virtually whilst working from home, but we are planning a phased staff return to campus from the autumn onwards. Due to social distancing measures, event space will be limited; so we are planning a programme of virtual events throughout Term 1. However, we will resume face-to-face career coaching on campus, whilst following the latest Health and Safety guidelines.

iVentCDS boothVirtual recruitment events
During 2020 we have been partnering with iVent to bring virtual recruitment events to our student and alumni audiences. If you are an existing employer partner, book via the ‘events’ tab in your Symplicity account. Employers wanting to recruit our students can get free access to Symplicity by signing up or by emailing us at cranfieldcareers@cranfield.ac.uk.

There are many benefits to taking part in virtual recruitment events. Employers, students and alumni are able to #BeThereFromAnywhere, resulting in higher numbers attending our events than those previously run on campus. You also save time spent out of the business, and save money on travel expenses and stand merchandise.
