The air transport sector has a key responsibility as a carbon-intensive emitter and could be the largest GHG contributor in 2050. This project is acting as the knowledge exchange hub by bringing together relevant participants who cross disciplinary boundaries (science, engineering, operations, economics, social sciences, etc) and stakeholder groups. This facilitates business, academia, and industry, to work together on research into innovative ideas and technology that is focused on greener air transport effectively.

The result of this project aims to lead to new products, services, and business opportunities for achieving the net-zero target, bringing economic and societal benefit to the UK. It includes: (1) a monthly journal club, (2) sandpit workshop, and (3) hackathon competition.
