Zicheng graduated in Automotive Electronic Engineering in China. He completed his MSc in Automotive Engineering at Cranfield University, with a four-month individual research project on the design of social and commuting electric quad bike. Zicheng has returned to Cranfield to pursue a PhD in the disc brake performance and NVH characteristics.
Zicheng is carrying out his PhD research within Advanced Vehicle Engineering Centre, within School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing. His PhD research focuses on investigation of disc brake performance and NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) characteristics using FBG (Fibre Bragg Gratings) optical sensors.
