Background
Zamira Rakhymbayeva is a doctoral researcher at Cranfield University, where her work addresses uncertainty and information asymmetry in free-market systems, with a particular focus on reverse supply chains for End-of-Life (EoL) products. Her research develops and validates stacking-based ensemble prediction models designed to improve forecasting accuracy when working with small datasets and one-sided information. By integrating engineering design methods, social contract theory, and sustainability science, her project contributes to advancing decision-making in global waste governance and the design of sustainable circular economy systems.
