Background
After doing two years of "Classes Préparatoires aux Grandes écoles" in mathematics and physics - which is an intensive course to prepare for french engineering schools, Zakariae has integrated ESTIA (Ecole Supérieure des Technologies Industrielles Avancées) for a 3-years general engineering course. Zakariae also holds an MSc in Software Engineering for Technical Computing, awarded by Cranfield University.
Current activities
Currently doing a PhD in Cranfield University and ESTIA, a project under the partnership of the two institutions. The focus is Generative models, mainly Generative Adversarial Nets, applied to healthcare. An additional interest is the enhancement of Convolutional Neural Networks from a low-level perspective grounded in mathematics.
