Background

Yating obtained her BEng (Honor) degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton in 2022, and an MSc degree in Aerospace Vehicle Design - Avionics System Design from Cranfield University, where she found herself particularly interested in cockpit design, aircraft control and handling quality. She was working on the integrated control and display system for the A-22 Aether hydrogen-powered aircraft for the MSc group design project. She worked on the Development of an Active Inceptor for F-16 Aircraft Stall Protection for her MSc individual project, she is continuing to work on the Active Inceptor for her PhD studies.
