Background
Tadesse is a graduate of Soil Sciences and undergraduate of Plant
Sciences. He is interested in soil and agronomic research, with a focus on
smallholder crop-livestock farming systems. He has been working as a research
officer for Natural Resource Management and Soil Productivity at the International
Crops Research Institute in Semi-arid Tropics (ICRISAT) from 08/2014 to 12/2019 and at Amhara Regional
Agricultural Research Institute (ARARI) from 09/2005 to 07/2014 in Ethiopia. He is now pursuing his PhD
project in Environment and Agrifood since December 2019 at Cranfield University
(UK), in collaboration with Rothamsted Research (UK) and the Mohamed VI
Polytechnic University (Morocco). His studentship research targets the
evaluation and application of dry spectroscopy tools and methods for precise crop
nutrient management.
