Contact Sunera Athauda
Background
Sunera received his Master of Chemistry (Second Class Honours, Upper Division) from the University of Leicester (UK), writing his thesis on indoor air pollution utilising analytical and computational chemistry. Afterwards, Sunera worked as a Scientist at NeuDrive Ltd. in the design, fabrication and testing of sensor and display organic thin film transistor (OTFT) devices, utilising NeuDrive’s proprietary organic semiconductor technology.
Current activities
Currently, Sunera is undertaking an industrially sponsored Master of Science by Research at Cranfield University on the Evaluation and Development of Amine-based Polymer Sorbents for Carbon Capture, under the supervision of Dr Ali Nabavi and Professor Vasilije Manovic. He aims to characterise the performance of these amine-functionalised polymers for different carbon capture applications and to advise the industrial partner in further material development.
