Background
I received my BEng (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering from Kingston University (2020) and my MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Queen Mary University of London (2021). Since October 2022, I have been a PhD student at the AVEC group, Cranfield University, under the supervision of Dr. Marzio Grasso and Dr. Francesco Gucci. My research focuses on composite structural batteries and multifunctional electrodes, specifically designing and characterizing LiFePO₄ coatings on carbon fibres. I use techniques such as electrophoretic deposition (EPD) to create high-performance cathodes that combine mechanical strength with energy storage.
Research opportunities
Li-Ion Composite Structural Batteries
Electrophoretic deposition (EPD) and advanced coating techniques
Composite materials for energy storage
Mechanical-electrochemical property coupling
Solid Polymer Electrolytes for Composite Structural Batteries
