Background
I am a researcher at Cranfield University, investigating nitrogen fate, speciation and management in an ISO 30500-aligned reinvented non-sewered sanitation system. I hold an MSc in Water Resources Development from BUET. Before joining Cranfield, I worked with the World Bank as an Industrial Water Consultant, focusing on industrial water reuse and recycling. Previously, I worked as a Research Coordinator on the REACH programme, a collaborative water-security research programme between BUET and the University of Oxford, and also gained experience working with UNICEF Bangladesh.
Research opportunities
Non-sewered sanitation; wastewater treatment; nitrogen fate and speciation; nutrient and resource recovery; industrial water reuse and recycling; water security; environmental monitoring; sustainable water and sanitation systems; multi-cascade pollution movement, human exposure to pollution and health risk.
