Background

Seba is a PhD candidate and academic who taught undergrad students in Product Design in the Industrial Design Engineering department at the College of Design at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

She earned an MSc degree in Advanced Product Design 2017 from Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK, which included the study of product development principles and sustainable issues in design. Seba additionally gained two bachelor's degrees: a BSc in Product Design 2016 from Cardiff Metropolitan University and a BArch in Interior Architecture 2012 from Dammam University.

Seba is interested in visual design and product design within the user experience, particularly concerning user-centred design and human factors.

Current activities

Seba is carrying out her PhD In Product Design and Manufacture Engineering within Cranfield's Center for Competitive Creative Design (C4D), which is part of the School of Water, Energy and Environment. Her research focuses on the emotional attachment theory, investigating how emotions can improve the user experience with their assistive devices to get better life quality, focusing on the aid-for-daily-living market targeting the ageing population.
