Contact Robert Evans

Background

Rob joined Cranfield University in February 2017, having spent the previous 15 years working in IP management and commercialisation. He started his working life as a Geophysicist, working in oil exploration, and moved into management consultancy after completing an MBA, his experience in Intellectual Property and interest in technology development lead him to retrain as an IP professional, and he now acts as an IP advisor within Cranfield. Currently Rob is based in the Research & Innovation Office at Cranfield and works with many research staff, he manages the IP and patent portfolio at the university. He has successfully commercialised over 50 technologies by way of 8 spin out companies and over 40 license agreements.
