Professor Christoph Mazur

Background

Mechanical Engineer and Economist, with a PhD in Sustainability Transitions working in Microsoft's Energy Team, obtaining new connection for hyperscale data centers. Working on innovation project in the field of smart energy systems, flexibility, low carbon energy.

Before working for Microsoft, Christoph worked on Smart local Energy Systems and Residential Development projects for ENGIE, on novel energy business models with the Energy Systems Catapult, and Smart Sustainable Districts for Imperial College London (Grantham institute) and CLimate-KIC.

Current activities

Research and collaboration in the fields of Smart Energy Systems, Energy policy, Flexibility/Demand- Side Response, Low carbon energy systems and novel energy business models.
