Naankang Garba

Background

Naankang received his Bachelor of Technology in computer science from The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University and a Master's degree from the National Open University of Nigeria in Information Technology where he

worked on Database Revenue collection system for Local Governments in Nigeria and on information Systems respectively.

He started working at the Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi in Nigeria in 2008 as a lecturer and has served the institution in several capacities notably as the Head of the Department, of Computer Science and The Dean, of the School of Information and Communication Technology.

He has Work experience in, Database Management Systems, Computer-Aided Design, Additive Manufacturing using 3D printers, and web development.

His passion for robotics and human assistive devices is his drive for Ph.D. research in Brain Controlled Interface for 3D Printed bionic Prostheses. He is a prestigious member of the Computer Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN).
