Background
Mehmet has obtained BSc in Computer Science from KTO Karatay University, and he received an MSc in Applied Artificial Intelligence from Cranfield University, with a thesis on the "Vision-based study of visual odometry for localisation and mapping". He was awarded a prestigious Turkish government scholarship, covering all his tuition and living expenses during his Master's and PhD studies. For this scholarship, he took exams, participated in interviews, and became one of the few students who won.
Current activities
Mehmet is a PhD student at DARTeC, focusing on predicting the behaviour of small UAVs through flight/aerodynamics patterns using computer vision and artificial intelligence.
