Mark Powders

Background

Mark has completed a BSc in chemistry and MSc in chemical engineering. He has had experience working as a project engineer and lab chemist. Mark joined Cranfield to pursue a PhD in ammonia to energy: a key decarbonisation strategy for the water sector.

Research opportunities

Mark is a WIRe CDT student carrying out his research at the Cranfield Water Science Institute. His PhD research focuses on the separation and concentration of ammonia from wastewater for use as an energy source in the water sector.
