Contact Lucy Whitley
Lucy completed an MSc in Water and Sanitation for Development in 2018 and has worked on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WaSH) projects in India and Uganda, and groundwater supply projects Bangladesh, Sierra Leone and South Sudan, and WaSH research in Ethiopia.
has worked in the humanitarian and development sectors and is now pursuing a
PhD at Cranfield University. Lucy’s interests are in groundwater supply and
vulnerability to climate change, and her PhD is focussing on methods for
assessing the vulnerability of coastal regions to saline intrusion. She aims to
support decision-makers, practitioners, and future researchers in mitigating
the impacts of saline intrusion on coastal communities.
