Background
Jia Yu graduated from Cardiff University in 2020 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng).
She joined Cranfield University's Centre for Competitive Creative Design (C4D) in September 2020 as an MDes student.
She became a research student (PhD in Design) at Cranfield University in September 2021 and continues her research in strategic design, materials innovation and product development.
Her specific research interests revolve around Agave Bagasse Fibre (ABF) and creating a framework for the material's sustainability.
