Background
Yanxin graduated from Imperial College London in 2017 with a MSc degree in Environmental Engineering. For her MSc dissertation, She identified potential locations of natural flood management interventions across the Evenlode catchment in the UK together with the engineer from Atkins company.
Following the completion of her master degree, she worked as an HSE specialist at Schlumberger Oilfield Equipment Co., Ltd in Shanghai where she developed professional knowledge about industrial waste management, production pollution control and workshop safety management.
Yanxin is now studying as a PhD student in Energy and Power at Cranfield University.
Current activities
The theme of Yanxin's current research is applying time series analysis and machine learning techniques on the Residual Biogas Potential (RBP) test of digestate of Anaerobic Digestion, aiming to predict the biogas production kinetics of RBP by physical and chemical parameters of the system and experimental data of less than 5 days.
