Background

BEng (Hons) in Marine Technology from the University of Plymouth (graduated 2010), and an MSc in Forensic Explosive and Explosion Investigation from Cranfield University (graduated 2011).

Joined the MoD Graduate Scheme in 2011 with placements in Naval Authority (Explosives), DOSG (Statistics & Modelling), HMS Vengeance LOP(R), Chemring EOD, and BAE Portsmouth. Regraded into DOSG ST1 as a Civil Servic C2 Scientist / Engineer. 

Currently the Head of Energetics (Systems) for DOSG ST1, and shortly the Head of Energetics (Systems) for the new Weapons Technical Services following the dissolution of DOSG.

Current activities

Started a PhD in Delamination and interface studies of heterogeneous propellants and solid rocket motor failure.
