Background

James Elgy graduated with a master’s degree in physics from the University of Hertfordshire, UK, in 2016. He began his Ph.D at Cranfield University that same year.

Outside of academia, his interests include general mountain sports, specifically skiing, where he is a qualified ski instructor.
