Background

Hugo Pervier completed his mechanical and thermal engineering degree at Polytech'Nantes Engineering school in France (graduated in 2007). He, then, enrolled in Cranfield University's MSc in Astronautics and Space Engineering (graduated in 2008) followed by a PhD in emissions modelling and aircraft trajectory optimisation (graduated in 2013). He joined Cranfield University as a Research Fellow in the Centre for Propulsion and Thermal Power Engineering as part of the Aircraft Icing research team.

    Cranfield Icing Wind Tunnel manager

    The Cranfield Icing Wind Tunnel is one of the few facility in UK and in the world to produce icing clouds for research and systems testing purpose. This facility is the largest in UK and is of high importance for the atmospheric icing community attracting many researchers and businesses from all over the world.
