Background

Hannah is an MSc by Research student and is working on a project representing the risk posed by drinking water viruses for microbial risk management using flow cytometry.

Hannah has an MSc in Water and Wastewater Engineering from Cranfield University sponsored by Anglian Water. Her 16-month research specialised in the use of flow cytometry to rapidly quantify bacteria used in AOC enumeration via controlled regrowth assays.

Prior to this, Hannah also obtained a BSc in Applied Environmental Science with Physical Geography from Keele University.

Current activities

Hannah is exploring the effectiveness of online flow cytometry and other online sensors to represent risks posed by drinking water viruses for microbial risk management at pilot-scale.
