Background
Godstime Daniel Ayetan is a PhD researcher under the primary supervision of Dr Muhammad Khan, the Head of Centre and Reader in Damage Mechanics, Centre for Life-cycle Engineering and Management. Godstime’s research is focused on the “Development of a Novel Hybrid Crusher for a Specific Materials Purpose.” He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering obtained in 2011, received his Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, in 2022, and an additional Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2024 from Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State, Nigeria. Before joining Cranfield University, Godstime worked as a Work Team Lead (WTL) at Tomba Resources Nig. Ltd in 2024 and as a Fixed Equipment Technician at Digital Energy and Integrated Service Nig. Ltd in 2025 at Escravos Gas-to-Liquids (EGTL), owned by Chevron Nig. Ltd. Godstime’s professional affiliations include Corporate Membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), and Corporate Membership of the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NIMechE). He has been admitted to Cranfield University on a full-time scholarship for his PhD programme in Manufacturing and Materials Engineering.
