Background

Gilbert Asamoah graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering in 2022. Beginning postgraduate study in 2026, he is currently a Master’s by Research student in Manufacturing, Materials and Design, working on vitrimer nanocomposites. His research focuses on the development of vitrimeric benzoxazine particle-reinforced composites for high-voltage insulating applications, with an emphasis on thermal, mechanical, and electrical performance, as well as material repairability, reusability, and environmental impact.
