Background

Gabriel completed his BEng in Mechanical Engineering Technology at the University of Greenwich. He moved on to complete an MSc in Engineering Projects and Systems Management at the Kingston University, London. He has worked in the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry since 2005, being responsible for scheduling, planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities on several offshore oil/gas production facilities, executing installation and commissioning of plant systems such as sewage and water maker units, partaking in platform risk assessment and management, interfacing and liaising with Original Equipment Manufacturers OEM's, taking breaks at intervals to acquire more knowledge in the ever changing and dynamic Science, Engineering and Technology world. Gabriel has also provided pro bono services as Engineering Projects Manager to Degabrielo Services Limited, Nigeria, overseeing the planning and execution of a few projects by the firm.

Gabriel also holds a certificate in Negotiation Mastery from the Harvard Business School. He has participated and led several negotiations including but not limited to Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (a subsidiary of ExxonMobil Corporation) annual workers wages and benefits negotiations.

Gabriel has passion for efficiency and optimisation and desires to be the best at all times.

Current activities

Gabriel is a research student with Integrated Vehicle Health Management Centre (IVHM) / Digital Aviation Research and Technology Centre (DARTeC), at the School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing (SATM), in The Cranfield University.
