Contact Festus, Ifeanyi Anagwu


Festus Ifeanyi Anagwu is a recipient of TETFund overseas doctoral scholarship at Cranfield University, United Kingdom. He is currently researching for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Manufacturing. Prior to commencing at Cranfield, he worked as a chemical engineering lecturer at the Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri Nigeria, having previously received two degrees: a BEng in chemical engineering from Anambra State University, Uli (now Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University), becoming the valedictorian of his class in 2006 and an MEng in chemical engineering from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers and the Nigerian Society of Engineers. He has authored some published conference and journal articles as well as two books on the subjects of unit operations and water treatment technology.

Current activities

Under the supervision of Dr Alex A. Skordos and Prof. Vijay Kumar Thakur, Anagwu is currently researching sustainable, smart, functional polymers and polymer composites, with a focus on the development and characterisation of high-performance vitrimeric systems for aerospace, automotive, defence, marine, civil engineering, electronics, and oil and gas applications and beyond.
