He joined the Sino-Australian Master Project between SCUT and the University of Western Australia (UWA) and received his Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering from UWA. Under the supervision of Dr Mingming Zhu, Fenghe is now studying as a PhD student in Energy and Power at Cranfield University.

Current activities

Fenghe is carrying out his PhD research project within the School of Water, Energy and Environment (SWEE) at Cranfield University. His research focuses on developing an brand new electro-catalytic technology to dissociate ammonia into hydrogen for use in either aircraft or power station turbines. The specific objectives are to investigate new electro-catalysts for the ammonia-hydrogen conversion and evaluate the performance of the new catalysts with lab scale reactors.
