Background

Farhan Ashraf obtained his MSc from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KSA), where he investigated the role of materials and energy in deteriorating the environment during oil and gas pipe repair processes.

His research at Cranfield University focuses on understanding the physics controlling the cyclic response of FCC materials at multiple scales. This work explores the role of micro and mesoscale attributes in determining structural reliability.
