Contact Emma Saunders


Emma holds an MSc in Forensic Archaeology and Anthropology from Cranfield University and a BSc (Hons) in Medical Sciences from the University of Glamorgan. Following her Master’s, Emma was awarded the inaugural “Vice Chancellor’s Prize” for best taught course student across the university, “Inforce Prize”, and the “Cranfield Forensic Institute Distinction Prize”.

Current activities

Emma is currently a full-time PhD student at Cranfield University, working under the supervision of Dr Nicholas Marquez-Grant. Her PhD research is focused on the effect of pathological conditions on the formation of a biological profile in bioarchaeology and forensic anthropology.
