Emily Cachia

Background

I am in my 2nd year of a 4-year iCase PhD in Manufacturing at Cranfield University, in collaboration with and sponsored by the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), the UK’s National Metrology Institute, and Loxham Precision within the School of Aerospace, Transport, and Manufacturing. This follows on from completing my BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering with First Class from London South Bank University (LSBU), with a sandwich placement year at Nissan Motor Manufacturing, Sunderland (NMUK) as part of the process manufacturing team.
