The Lithium-Sulfur (Li-S) battery has attracted a lot of research interests, largely motivated by its high specific energy and low weight. However, the exploitation and exploration on unknow states are still huge challenges in specific industrial scenarios, i.e. estimation of State of Charge (SoC), prediction of remaining useful life, thermal modelling and controllability.
Zhihuo works as a Research Fellow with Advanced Vehicle Engineering Centre of Cranfield University, on two Innovate UK projects and one H2020 project towards the above-mentioned Estimation / Prediction / Modelling / Control targets, under two frameworks of (1) All-State Prediction and (2) Controllable Multi-Scale Multi-Dimension Thermal Modelling.
