Contact Dr Stuart Colville
Background
Dr Stuart Colville is a Research Fellow in Cryogenic Fuel Systems within the Low Emissions Technologies and Combustion group. His research focuses on physical modelling techniques that couple fluid and thermodynamic effects in non-isothermal environments, with applications to cryogenic fuel systems for aircraft.
Stuart completed his PhD in Cryogenic Sloshing in Aircraft Fuel Tanks at the University of Plymouth between 2021 and 2025. Previously he studied Mechanical Engineering (MEng) at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh from 2016 to 2021.
