Background
I graduated in Soil Microbiology from Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar (SENEGAL) where I obtained my Master followed by a PhD. I carried out my doctoral works with the collaboration of the french Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD). Afterwards, I was granted by the French Government through the Make Our Planet Great Again initiative (Cohorte 2018) for a two years post-doctoral fellowship in Eco&Sols lab of Montpellier.
Current activities
I was hosted in Cranfield University as a Visiting Research Fellow. Indeed, as a researcher of the Mohammed 6 Polytechnic University (UM6P), I worked on a collaborative project which include Rothamsted Research, UM6P and Cranfield University. Then, I benefited from the facilities of Cranfield University's Environment and Agrifood department for different types of soil analyses (Microbial biomass determination, MicroResp TM, PLFA profiling etc). These analyses aimed to determine the effect of the variable agroclimatic conditions in Morocco on the density, the structure and the catabolic activity of wheat cultivated soil .
