Dr Siqi Wang is a Research Fellow in Digital Energy Systems at Cranfield University (since 2020). She is with Centre for Energy Systems and Strategy in School of Water, Energy and Environment (SWEE). Siqi did her BEng from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China (2010-2014), MSc degree at Cranfield University, UK (2014-2015), and received PhD degree at Cranfield University, UK (2016-2020). Her thesis is ‘Intelligent-Based Hybrid-electric Propulsion System for Aero Vehicle’.
Her research focuses on applying Machine Learning for data analysis on energy systems. These include electric vehicle (EV) charging behavior analysis, charging pattern identification and charging demand forecasting, intelligent energy management strategies for hybrid-electric systems, and carbon emission assessments, etc.
