Background
Nicholas graduated with a Masters in Physics (MPhys) degree from Aberystwyth University in 2013. He then joined the Centre for Engineering Photonics at Cranfield University as a PhD in October that same year, completing his Thesis 'Mid-infrared spectroscopic instrumentation for airborne monitoring of atmospheric gas species' in 2018, before joining the centre as a Research Fellow that same year.
