Contact Dr James Bremner
Background
Having worked in chemical and pharmaceutical R&D as well as education, James studied applied physics at the University of Portsmouth before joining Engineering Photonics at Cranfield University as a PhD student.
Current activities
James is working on the development of a new technique that would allow the measurement of gas concentrations at a number of locations simultaneously. This involves the application of a signal processing technique that was developed in the Centre For Engineering Photonics for positional sensing to the problem of gas spectroscopy.
