Background
Harvey received his first-class BSc in Education and Psychology from the University of Southampton in 2020. Then, in 2024, he obtained his PhD from Cranfield University which focused on knowledge transfer within international university-industry collaborations; with a particular focus on the path to commercialisation of novel sanitation technologies.
Since joining Cranfield, Dr. Fox has been involved in several multi-million pound projects funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He has played central roles in various activities including: the coordination of field-testing campaigns across multiple continents, knowledge transfer with international partners, and systems-level design and testing of innovative technologies.
Current activities
Dr. Fox is currently a Research Fellow at the Centre for Design Engineering. He is a core team member of the Cranfield Circular Toilet project with over 4-years of experience working with international teams.
