Background
Dr Fakhre Ali is a Lecturer in Airframe Systems Design at the Centre for Aeronautics, Propulsion and Power, Cranfield University. He holds a Master’s degree and a Doctorate (EngD) in Aerospace Engineering from Cranfield and is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), Member of Royal Aeronautical Society, Institute of Mechanical Engineers, and Institute for Systems Engineering UK. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers in the areas of aircraft systems modelling, simulation, testing, condition monitoring, conceptual and preliminary aircraft design analysis and optimisation.

Research opportunities
His teaching and research span airframe systems architecture, powerplant integration, systems safety, and advanced airframe systems concepts, with strong alignment to the UK Jet Zero strategy and the transition to net-zero, zero-carbon aviation.
