Background
Berkcan completed his Bachelor's of Science in Industrial Engineering in 2013 along with Business Administration and Applied Mathematics minors and his Master's of Science in Air Transport Management in 2015. Upon completing his PhD in Transport Systems at Cranfield University, he joined the centre in early 2020.
Current activities
Dr Berkcan Uyan is a Research/Teaching Fellow in Air Transport Management in the Centre for Air Transport Management at Cranfield University, UK. His research areas include quantitative analysis of market dynamics in air transport, passenger preferences, and operational performances. Previously he partnered with Airbus, Jamco, and Pratt & Whitney on academic and industrial research projects.
