Background
Dr Alderete Peralta is an interdisciplinary artificial intelligence expert.
He completed a BSc in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science in the Mexican National University, and a MSc in Economic for Natural Resources and Environmental Management at Cranfield university, he undertook a PhD in Prediction of low carbon technologies with specialisation on Artificial Intelligence (Cranfield University).
Dr Alderete Peralta then worked as a Research Assistant in the Centre for Energy Systems and Strategy (Cranfield University). He currently undertakes research on Monility-as-a-Service, focusing on the cyber security risk related to the integration of transport services.
Current activities
Ali's research interests include energy systems modelling and analysis; integrating machine learning and sociotechnical analysis; application of artificial intelligence in energy flexibility solutions. With a background in applied mathematics, he is interested in applying concepts from the complexity science into policy making.
Ali is part of various projects funded by UK research councils. He is an early career researcher consolidating his track record, with already some publications in high raking journals and international conferences.
