Background

Delina received her degree in Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Indonesia specialized in Electrical Power Engineering. She started her career in the industry as a Project Engineer at PT. Unindo ALSTOM (Jakarta) before being promoted to the Project Leader position within three and a half years later. While working at the multinational company, she also enhanced her skills in general management and business by continuing her study in Master of Management at the Economics Faculty University of Indonesia. As she dedicated her contribution to improving the higher education quality and the welfare of the people in Aceh Province, she moved on to complete her MSc in Sustainable Energy Technology at Eindhoven University of Technology (The Netherlands). Now, she has been pursuing a PhD in Energy and Power at Cranfield University in the UK.

Current activities

Delina's doctoral research focuses on the future smart airport grid incorporating electric vehicles, which will involve various intelligent control and optimization techniques to counter the dynamic effects of battery charging/discharging.
