Background

Chenhui completed his BSc in Vehicle Engineering with a concentration in Development and Application of Electronic Control Unit for Electronically-Controlled Hydraulic Power Steering System from Jiangsu University. He moved on to complete his MSc in Traffic and Transportation Engineering at Jiangsu University, with his thesis on Performance Research and Parameter Optimisation of Commercial Vehicle Electronically Controlled Hybrid Power Steering System. Chenhui comes to Cranfield University to pursue a PhD in the Human-like Navigation for Autonomous Vehicles in Urban Intersections, sponsored by China Scholarship Council in a double-degree program with Jiangsu University.

Current activities

Chenhui is carrying out his PhD research at the School of Aerospace, Transport Systems and Manufacturing. His PhD research focuses on trajectory prediction of road users and human-like navigation of autonomous vehicles in urban driving scenarios.
